The sprint course follows the olympic course and then turns east on 400 S and then north at 250 E and then turns west at Highway 81. Distance: 20K
The sprint run turns right after crossing the highway and railroad tracks and then is out and back. Distance: 5K
Race packets will be handed out on Friday before the race from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Riverfront Park at the Burley Golf Course. (Google Maps)
Packets not picked up on Friday will be available Saturday morning until 6:30am. All participants (including all team members) will be required to bring photo ID. Team members will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate. Notarized letters will not be accepted to pick up race packets. The packet will be given to the last team member that checks in.
You can drop your bike off on Friday night between 3:00PM and 9:00PM. You can also drop them off on Saturday morning from 6:00AM - 6:45AM. T1 closes at 6:45AM sharp. No bikes will be allowed in after 6:45AM on Saturday. Bikes are locked up and secured overnight.
A pre-race meeting will be held to cover race details and safety information. This will take place before the guest speaker.
For those that can't make it on Friday, packet pick-up will be available Saturday morning around 5:45AM until 6:45AM. You can also rack your bike before 6:45AM, but it is recommended to get this done on Friday as Saturday morning is very hectic with traffic and race prep.
Waves start every ten minutes with Wave 1 starting at 6:50AM and the final Wave 8 starts at 8:00AM. Age divisions will be assigned to a wave and these will be posted a week before the race. Times will be posted at packet pickup and each wave will have its own swim cap color. Bike must be racked by 6:45AM. T1 closes at 6:45AM sharp. The Sprint starts at 8:30AM.
The awards ceremony will be at noon at the Pavilion. First, second, and third place ceramic Spudman trophies will be awarded to each age division. Race results will be available at the stage and on the website.
